    Hi All,
I have an F2K board that I have gotten to two flashes. I replaced the 5101 RAM with an eliminator and still two flashes. I have 2 different 6800 cpu chips I have swapped in and still the same result. Also, this board usually requires the power to be turned on a time or two before it starts to boot. I have replaced the 5v cap and rebuilt the power supply and connectors. Can someone help here? I’m baffled.

Also - no battery corrosion. Has 3 caps soldered into the battery holes

Ooh - I have answered my own question and I am a dimwit. Turns out there are actually 2 5101 RAM on that board. Swapped the 5101 eliminator into the other slot and it seems to be fully booting. Aside from poor reading comprehension I am pretty stoked to try to play a game on this thing for the first time in well over a decade. I do not think I ever played this one in my youth.

I have a clean original MPU in my F2K and it does the same non-boot at start up when the game is cold. If a wait a few seconds and power on again it will boot after 1 or 2 times of throwing power switch. I believe the issue is in the reset/start up section, I think Q1, Q3 or Q5 are the ones in that section that should be replaced.
