Folks, Electronics is not my strong suit. I am just about through bringing a Jungle Princess back to life but I have one last issue. I am not getting any game controlled lights in the backbox. I am getting all the backbox gi and the lights above both sets of score reels as well as the player 1 and 2 above the score reels. The lights I am not getting are, Game over, match, ball in play and the player 1 or 2 lights that light to tell you how many players have been entered. I poked around back there and noticed the lights that are working had the metal braid on both sides of the bulb while the non working bulbs all had the metal braid on one side and a wire from the game going to the other lug of the bulbs. I have fixed solo light problems in the past,ex. game over light out was a switch not making contact on the game over relay, or the ball in play lights being repaired by cleaning switches in the player unit. I have been through all these relays and player unit so this is something beyond a simple switch in a relay and new to me. Something is causing lights from various relays and units to not light. There is a 10 amp fuse that controls the backbox lights and I put a breaker in just to be sure it is not a weak fuse. Does anyone know what could be causing this issue.
    Thanks,
    Todd

Those lights all require that two switches are closed:

    - a normally closed switch on the P relay connecting a black-red (black
with red tracer) wire to a black+red (black and red mottled) wire
    - a normally closed switch on the AX relay connecting the mottled
back+red wire to yellow+green (mottled) wire

Hi Mark. Thanks for the excellent direction. It was the switch in the AX relay that looked to be closed but was not.
    Thanks,
    Todd
