The only real solution is to set up a virtual machine and run it off of that. I'm savy enough with computers to do this, but I wanted to go outside of my expertise and learn what you need to do to setup and run a virtual machine. Have any of you done it before, and what would I need
to get started?

Last month I downloaded a game off of Steam called Shogo: Mobile Armor Division. I always meant to play it when it was new in 1998, but a lot of things just got in the way these last 26 years.
I didn't anticipate this, but Steam just sold a game that wasn't programmed to work on a modern machine. Someone out there made some patches that can get it to run on modern hardware, but my computer is
just too modern to handle 1998. I had a problem with Blade Runner not generating targets in the target range because my clock speed was too
fast for the software to recognize, but this is a whole different league.
