So... I know how to use a different template for VIEWING an ANSI file -
to where I can call a different template, but...
If I use the ANSI Gallery it revert to the stock one; how can I use the ANSI Gallery, and either.... have two ANSI Gallery versions?
Not sure I understand what you are trying to ask, but you can have as many ways as you want to view stuff and as many galleries as you want. Both GA &
GV work much the same, you can put the baud rate in or scroll with the arrows using either. So you can make an ANSI Gallery under A in a menu like (X)Xperimental (the one I tend to use) with data as bbsads; (/mystic/bbsads) and scroll through each ANSI with the arrow keys, then ESC and arrow down to the next one and ENTER and view it. You can also add a menu entry for /A
and set that gallery up for say 1200 baud (38400 is rather fast to view) and the same directory. Then A gets the manual scrolling and /A is automatic.
It that the type of thing your looking for?
I haven't fought with the syntax for the 1200 baud one, I generally use the old default manual scrolling, but I know it can be scrolled at a baud rate. you'd have two menu hot keys and one would be the GA default like:
(B) BBS Ads for the key and bbsads; under data for the directory, That's
my default under Xperimental. Will figure out the baud rate and put that one under (/A) ANSI Gallery. They will point to the same directory with two different ways of scrolling through it.
