    I've gone through the relevant areas of the wiki, but I'm still having some trouble figuring it out.

    The Message areas are working finally.

    But i'm still trying to figure out processing tic files and nodelists.

    As far as I can tell, it should all be set up, but they aren't processing.

    i really need one of those Dummies books.

    I have an event set to run ./mutil nodelist.ini every Friday evening after I receive fresh nodelists from my hubs.

    Here's my nodelist.ini file:

    [General]
    MergeNodeLists = true
    logfile = mutil.log
    logcache = true
    loglevel = 2
    logtype = 1
    maxlogfiles = 3
    maxlogsize = 1000

    [MergeNodeLists]
    strip_down = true
    strip_private = true

    nodefile=/home/pi/mystic/files/fdn_FSX_NODE/FSXNET
    nodefile=/home/pi/mystic/files/fdn_NODELIST/NODELIST
    nodefile=/home/pi/mystic/files/fdn_SCINODE/scinet
    nodefile=/home/pi/mystic/micronet
    nodefile=/home/pi/mystic/whispnet

    I toss tic files in my mailin.ini:

    [snip]

    ImportEchoMail = true
    FileToss = true
    LinkMessages = true

    [FileToss]

    bad_dir=/home/pi/mystic/files/badfile
    unsecure_dir = false
    no_desc=No Description
    uploader=NRBBS
    check_crc = true
    check_size = true
    allow_unsecure = false
    allow_replace = true
    auto_create = true
    dir_prefix = /home/pi/mystic/files/fdn_
    template = ansiflst
    acs_sysop = s255
    free_files = 0
    show_uploader = 1
    new_scan = 1

    For what it's worth I don't strip PVT nodes so I am aware of them and can
    send routed netmail to them if I want. But I do strip the 'down' ones.
