I've been running the same version on Win 11 and haven't had any issues with >the events.

Interesting. I am on Linux. The events seem to change. I will have an event set as interval and min 45. I save and edit. When I enter back in, it’s changed back to its previous value.

Just a crazy thought here. Are you restarting the bbs after making the event >changes?

I've been having issues where Mystic just drops calls randomly since moving to 49 - how hard was it to revert back to 48?

I have seen that happen too, make changes and they don't stick.
I would take the BBS offline and edit the changes you need and then restart the BBS. I think that'll work better for you.

I reverted back to A48 because g00r00 isn't around right now and doesn't seem to be devving actively.
This is normal - g00 is awesome and continues to give us a great bbS platform 20+ years in; but I'm not beta'ing A49 until its being devved a lot more actively.
I normally doso, but I had issues too...

I always make a backup before updating so I'm sure I can revert back if needed. I don't know exactly what changed I have not tested A49 yet but you could probably check the changes and in that way know what you can revert and what not.

I've been having issues where Mystic just drops calls randomly since moving to 49 - how hard was it to revert back to 48?
Yea he goes through cycles where he devs a lot, fixes a lot and makes a
lot of great progress, then disappears completely for as long as 8-12 months.
IΓÇÖm sure he is a busy man, so I donΓÇÖt fault him. I do they same with
projects. I just wish I could get my software working right. I found
work around a. If I can downgrade to a48 - I probably would.

Interesting, I've not had these issues at all but I have had some issues with events and semaphores. I've changed all event logic to just run as cronjobs at an OS level.
On another note, has anyone come across network nodes disappearing? I
got a message from one of my Network HUB administrators saying he hasn't been able to connect to me in over a week. I go in check to see what is
up and find his HUB is no longer listed, then I see other connections
are gone also. I rebuild them, they stay fine for a few months then
again Hubs disappear..

What OS/bitrate are you guys using? I'm using 64 bit linux.
I was having this issue not with A49 but A48 for a bit, it turned out
that it was my modem was losing connection.. I called my cable company
and they tried some tests then as usual said you are not using our
router put that in and it will be fixed. I told them I wanted a new
modem got it and the issues stopped..
Go figure?!?!!?
Go figure?!?!!?
Yeah they always hope that if you just reboot it while on the line, they get a fast ticket closure. Then they realize you don't own there
equipment and refuse to help. I'm like, but here are the log files
showing it you on YOUR end, not mine. Now I have fiber and don't have to fight them as much and save myself around $300USD each month on top of
it .. LOL
I've been having issues where Mystic just drops calls randomly since moving to 49 - how hard was it to revert back to 48?Fairly easy, IIRC - I just did an ./upgrade - or is it ./update?? And
was able to go back to A48.... I don't recall any issues or hoops to
jump thru.
