In your .ini file as well? Even though there are no options, you may still need the stanza present.

Just to clarify, by packing do you mean packing a JAM message base after messages have been purged?

Or are you talking about packing up messages and exporting them from your BBS to the rest of the world?

Just want to check we're on the same page before I respond further :)

Yea, have like 2500 messages and the max limit is 1000. I am looking to purge some messages. Messages are not being purged.

What does your .ini file look like that calls the purge function, and what
do the logs show, if you set them to logging level 3 this will help.

Also what options do you have purging options set at each message base level?

Just re-reading this, so OK purging stuff to remove, you do this first then usually pack bases thereafter to remove any gaps in the JAM files.

Same questions as per my earlier reply apply, what does the ini look like
that you run, make sure you have logging at level 3, what do the logs show after you run MUTIL? ... and do you run this when no users are online and no other events are running, you should do that.
