Hello i am trying to use system bulletin. On help i can read that is enough to create another bulletin file like bullet3.asc or 4 or 5 but mystic doesn't warn me that there is a new bulletin to read.
The command line on my prelogin menu is "bulletin bulletin bullet check"
    help?

Mystic BBS comes with two sample bulletins which can serve as a template for making your own bulletins and can be edited with
The ansi editor in MysticDOS. I generally edit the main menu to include
(#) Menu Edit & (/D) Mystic-DOS (Both in red or color 12). Once that is added just enter Mystic-DOS with /D and cd /mystic/themes/default/text then
    copy bullet2.asc to bullet3.asc
    ansi bullet3.asc
Using that built in editor you can edit the bulletin in a real what you see is what you get editor, save it, then
    ansi bulletin.asc
to edit in ( 3 ) Bulletin3 (use control v to move to insert mode) and add it. ESC s and save the edited file and ESC q to quit out and exit to get out of Mystic-DOS and go look at the new bulletin.

I was getting the same thing with A47, I haven't checked yet in A48. New bulletins were not showing up as new on login..

I had this problem too. I ended up using BULLS.MPS instead. I think the error was somewhere in the code where it was comparing dates, a < was used where there should have been a > or vice versa. Can't remember.

I posted about this to g00r00 I believe some months back on Fidonet in the Mystic section.

I fixed it by going back to the bulletin.mps from I believe A44 or A45, runs fine now..
