It doesn't seem like you sent a proper netmail. This ended up in a
message base. I'll see about sending you one from my board and you can
try to reply to that.
... I think I am, therefore, I am... I think.

Hi Todd!
I've sent a few netmails in the past month with no response to
other boards. I'm beginning to think it may be something on my
end.
Could you be kind enough and just reply to this to let me know if
you got it? That would rule out some things on my end.
By the way, everything else seems to be working great on this end
with the polling, etc.

This appeared in the (public) echomail area, not a (private) netmail, just FYI...
... Gone crazy, be back later, please leave message.

If you want to test netmail is working, then you can send a ping to my
BBS ping@21:2/116 or Hub 3 ping@21:3/100 and a bot will respond.
If you dont get a response, I can check if I received it and that might help track down where the issue might be.

Do you have a seperate message area setup for netmail? I think you need one for each network you are a part of. In the message board setting for that area make sure you have TYPE set aws Netmail, and the PRIVATE MSG switch set to yes. That appears to be my problem. I've corrected it!
-DallasThat's the first thing I did! Avon comes through again!
p.s. Have you watched the video on youtube about how to setup netmail on Mystic?

For the record, with Mystic you can use one netmail area for all
networks. Just as well, you can have a separate one for each network if you want to.

I only had one area for netmail. I changed it to two in the hopes that was the issue. If it's not, I'll be at it again!

You're running the latest version, so there's no issue with one netmail area whatsoever. Since it's not letting me copy/paste, I can try to give you a short version of my netmail area's config:
Name: Netmail
Base Type: Netmail
Newsgroup: Netmail
QWK Name: NETMAIL
Echo Tag: NETMAIL
FIle Name: netmail
Path: /home/user/mystic/msgs
List ACS: s20(g2|g3|g4|g5|g6)
Read ACS: s20(g2|g3|g4|g5|g6)
Post ACS: s20(g2|g3|g4|g5|g6)
Sysop ACS: s255(g2|g3|g4|g5|g6)
Net Address: 0:0/0 (Local Address)
Export To: 3 node(s)
That should get you started. Take note on the last one above, you're exporting to every uplink's individual address for each network with AKA matching. And list, read, post, and sysop ACS should include every group that is an echomail network that includes a netmail area (g1 here is my Local areas, so not needed).
Hope that helps!
Regards,
Nick

If I had to guess one of those is set right for your base, because when you post to that message base, after you enter a To: it should ask you
for the node adresss.
Actually I just thought about it, since we did exchnage netmail when I sent you one. You are posting to Netmail when you try to send one out right? Because you can't send netmail to/from an echomail group only the netmail group.
