On your BBS change to group 3 and press z, look and make sure the areas youwant scanned are listed.

They're not. Thank you for schooling me with what a newscan is. LOL...

I don't read Dove as a subscribed FTN anymore; and thats why. Derp. Dang, I should be able to scan the whole group even tho I'm not subscribed - but... I'll go check what the Mystic commands are. I'm sure I'm just doing it wrong.

I've noticed something...
The only variable I can see thats different is its a QWK network - which makes no sense but...

DoveNet is my message group 3. When I join any other FTN/message group and Newscan the Group, it scans all the message areas in that group...

When I to that in group 3, DoveNet, it doesn't search ANY message areas. If I scan new in the Current Area, it shows me the new messages... but, duh, just for that area.

So I thought I had the message areas setup wrong, or without the g3 flag. But the flag is there. (@#*$)*@$)!@*$@!_#

What gives?! Any ideas???

Do you have them all turned off in "(Z) Set Scanned Bases" on your account?

I did that once by accident for Micronet, not sure how though.
