Strange tidings! Stay warm and safe.
Not looking forward to those days, arghh... especially since I work outside. Stay safe out there Avon!!
Stay safe, and try to keep warm!
Autumn is approaching here and so are low temps. Really windy today -- although sunny in the afternoon -- and leaves are dropping rapidly now.
I would have liked to see all the nice colors on the trees a lot longer this year...
Currently waiting for a NOS P&S 35 mm film camera (photo is an old hobby of mine). We'll see if there will be anything left to photograph before winter arrives...
We have had below normal temperatures here in the other hemisphere, too. It is Autumn and we have had a couple of early frosts. They are not calling for any precip, but it could get could enough to snow a couple of mornings from now.
As it is just Spring there, I am guessing you are in what would be the equal to our early April. We do sometimes get snow that late, but not normally. More likely, if it is frozen precip, to be sleet or hail by then.
Thanks, the electric heater has been my friend and in a few weeks the power bill will be my curse.
I'm waiting on an electric heater to be delivered to my door :)

Hoping it will arrive soon then! :)
I wouldn't mind seeing some days like that here more often. It's fall here, so the weather is getting cooler, albeit slowly (in the past week, we've had some days that are still around 85 degrees Fahrenheit/29 Celsius), which is a little warmer than average here for this time of year.
Where I am (northwest Oregon, USA), we don't get much snow in the
winter. It tends to be fairly rainy here throughout the winter and not quite cold enough to freeze - and when it does, we might get some snow
or ice overnight but then it might melt in the next day or two.
Sometimes we'll have cold enough weather to get snow that stays for a
week or so.
That's summer temps for me, anything 20 to 26/28 Celsius is warm, and above that I start to struggle.
We used to get a 'snow day' once or twice a year when I moved to Dunedin in the early 2000s but now we're lucky to see something like a 'snow day' once every 2-5 years I think. The event we just had was a massive dumping / cold blast and something like it had not been seen in 10+ years...

I went to the parks near the castle in Uppsala last year and got some
nice autmun leaves photos and movie shots. (Just with my phone.)
I hope there's some leaves left for when you get your camera. :)

What camera did you buy?
I am re-doing our storage space, and had to take everything out of it to have it paneled and sealed. Found a box full of cameras waiting for film (and a place to develop film)
I've got a Leica Z2X, an Olympus Stylus, Vivitar Ultra-wide, a couple of Jazz colors plastic cameras, a couple of TIME 35mm plastic cameras, a couple of no-name plastic 35mm cameras, a Konica rangefinder, Olympus
XA and XA2 and a LOMO colorsplash that were left by the wayside by digital. It's time to go back.
