Magiterm 1.1.15 is out now

* fixes cut & paste
* makes gopher / gemini links clickable in addition to http / ftp etc
* cursor is now set to the end of the sixel image, to better mimic syncterm
* fix for download path not showing when editing an entry.

Working great on M1 Mac BTW :)

One thing I've noticed, is when you start MagiTerm, you need "two keystrokes" to connect the first time.

IE: When I open MagiTerm, it is highlighting the top entry (which is my BBS) - pressing ENTER does nothing. But when I press ENTER a second time, it connects. The first key stroke doesnt need to be ENTER, it can be any key (it does nothing).

If, instead of connecting, I move the cursor down to the next entry (the first keystroke), pressing ENTER (the 2nd keystroke) connects anyway (so you dont notice the issue).

Hope that makes sense...

I sent a reply to this via tiny's bbs but it seems sometimes messages don't make it out.

Yes, I did that deliberately, as when launching magiterm from the console, the enter pressed when you type ./magiterm was carried over to magiterm and would in effect call the first bbs in the dialing directory automatically.

I didn't find a way to work around it at the time, so i just ignored the first "enter"

Thank you - I know I post this too much; but *I* really appreciate MagiTerm, TitanMail and [thru proxy] Talisman. I'll have you know that I've been using MagiTerm more and more as a main term - because of its strong Linux Wayland full-screen mode, SIXEL and DL/UL support.

Flipping awesome.

Yessir - I'm using it more and more as my main. !!! I got a little issue I just noticed. I may very well have the TERM setup wrong, BUT there an instance where MagiTerm doesn't display like the other terms do. [Sync/Netrunner]

On 2o if you load up the Lynx browser on the Main Menu - the text is all warped and not lined up correctly... but using either of the other big guys it displays just fine and you can scroll up/down the page and select things.

Maybe take a peek ; again it could be ME not setting the TERM=ansi correctly - I'll be testing on a couple other bbSes this weekend.
