So we moved our bbs to a new Pi 5. It has a fancy new hat that supports POE and a PCIe SSD. Goodbye old crapy mirco SD's!

Yes. The hat I got is a Power Over Ethernet that supports an M.2 SSD. Very cool hat.

Just using a standard M.2 PCIe gen 3 ssd. Its way to fast for the PCIe bus
on a PI 5 but that's no issue for me. Even with the slow Pi PCIe bus its
about 10 times faster over using an sd card.

The Pi runs the mystic bbs, my little retro computer website and it hosts a public TNFS server for folks with a FujiNet device.

Oh! Nice! I'll have to add your server to my list of TNFS servers. :)

Btw, if you're on a FujiNet with an Atari 8bit, my BBS is accessible with full ATASCII support. Didn't know there were other Atari people on here.
