Hello everybody!

Somebody herere told me I could create a F# key within GolDED to create a semaphore as soon as I exit the program or press the key, does anybody have way of doing it, I'm struggling big time with this.

I'm not sure about a function key but I have these two lines in my golded.cfg file:

SEMAPHORE NETSCAN /home/ubuntu/fido/semaphore/mail.out
SEMAPHORE ECHOSCAN /home/ubuntu/fido/semaphore/mail.out

This will create the semaphore specified once I exit GoldED if I post either an echomail or netmail message.

I found thse a bi overwhelming but I will consider your approach.

Note to self:

- FOund this on advanced.cfg rom GoldED+
// Add these key definitions in GOLDKEYS.CFG:
// F11 ExternUtil07 ; View a fax
// @F11 ExternUtil08 ; View a GIF
// #F11 ExternUtil09 ; Touch a semaphore file

Not the command to be used but I'll try suggestions.

Exactly what I did, I'm testing the goldkeys function to see if it works
