• FTNs; when is the msg sent?

From paulie420@21:2/150 to All on Tuesday, July 09, 2024 19:50:30
I use Mystic BBS software and know there is a setting... I want my BBS to send FTN messages after the user logs off. This would allow the user to make any changes to messages posted in FTNs and they can trust that the correct message will be sent to the network.

What is that setting? CRASH????? And for the above to be true, which do I make sure its set to?

Thanks - I can never remember these things even tho I've done it 100 times...

It's under Configuration --> Message Base Settings --> Create Semaphore: Logout.

    Hope this helps!

Crash is used for the sending of files via the bink setup. What you are looking for is the setting in the Configuration menu under Message settings, you want to create the semaphore upon logout lower right hand corner 1 spot up "Create Semaphore".. That is the setting you are looking for...
