Hello All,
I realized today that Net2BBS was no longer "picking up" on port 23. I looked at a port monitor and it appears that there is a remote connection 24/7 with a domain that is associated with malware. I blocked the IP address in the Net2BBS config but that did not prevent it from connecting. The connection is "behind the scene" in that in the net2bbs window looks normal with no connections but in port monitor I see the active connection. If I disconnect the port the IP just reattaches.
Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this? Scanned for malware using defender, nothing. Scanned using malware bytes and of course it says Net2BBS is the virus, but that's normal.
