    Hi,

    Anyone into PureBasic ?
I recently discovered it realizing it has been around for years.
It is still actively maintained and support Win, Linux, OSX and Arm (raspberry).

I like it due to the basic like syntax and portability. The executables are small without need for a lot of dependencies.

Also I like the license model. It's 79Euro for a lifetime license (all future updates). You can install it in all your environments using the same license.

I realize this is becoming a commercial so I will stop now...

Is that the one written by Kemeny and Kurtz after the PCs took over the market?

I just looked it up. It looks like a cross-platform VisualBasic.

I remember Kemeny and Kurtz doing an updated BASIC for the MS-DOS platform. They were discouraged by the bunch of variants that were created and wanted something better for people. Unfortunately, by the time they bought it out, the PC market had moved away from BASIC.
