@jack just recently stepped down as CEO of twitter, I can't help but wonder if he suspects the republicans could take over Congress next year.
I am pretty certain Congress will go after these big media companies that stiffle free speech if in fact the Republicans take over this body of Government.

To be replaced by another winner I'm sure.

I wouldn't bet on it. Nearly every (if not every) federal level politician is bought by some other special interest group.

Seventy-two senators and 302 members of the House of Representatives cashed a check from the pharmaceutical industry ahead of the 2020 election - representing more than two-thirds of Congress, according to a new STAT analysis of records for the full election cycle.

Pfizer's political action committee alone contributed to 228 lawmakers. Amgen's PAC donated to 218, meaning that each company helped to fund the campaigns of nearly half the lawmakers on Capitol Hill. Overall, the sector donated $14 million.

Maybe it's because other social media companies have seen triple-digit percentage increases in their stock price and Twitter is trading under or at their IPO price, despite being one of the biggest names in social media?

He was only a half-time CEO anyways, as he is CEO of Square, probably more like 10% actual time.

Closing the door behind them, as it were.

... What context would look right?
