Absolutely. Do you seriously think the army is that stupid to
leave everything fully funtioning? Even some water in the fuel
tanks could work, cutting the brake lines, etc. All quick and
easy in a moment of evacuation.
Even if the equipment was still useable, it would be unusable
pretty quick without maintenance.
The Americans probably took as much munitions as they
could. The Afghans don't have much to work with.
