They are right. The temperatures and weather conditions now is a lot different
then it was back in the 70's and 80's. It's here and we have to change before it's to late. Waiting is not a option.

Where? A lot of people around here claim that things are different, by their recollection, but I don't remember it being cooler during the
summer back then. It seemed pretty darn hot then, too.
We also had snow-storms back then, but not every year, just like now.

Sorry, I do not agree. How are you comming up with that?

Because I lived through them, from the big ones in 1977-79 through the last one a couple of Winters ago. We have not had them every year in my
location in my lifetime (50+ years). Some Winters we might actually get 2 or even 3, but there will be other Winters where we
get
snow but never enough to call it a "storm."
In the past 12 years, we've had at least 2 summers where the official temperature never hit 90F (once, sometime since 2010) or
only
did once
(2009). I don't remember that EVER happening when I was younger. I remember having weeks at a time where it was 90F+ every
afternoon.
So, when someone my age or older claims it is "hotter than it's ever been" simply based on their personal experience, I wonder
if
they were in a coma
for several years during the 1980s, 90s, 2000s.
