I'd rather see a mission "scrubbed" then seeing the damn thing blow up! That's a lot of money wasted that could have been used elsewhere.
That's just my opnion... I could be wrong. ;-)

better than it going to ukraine.

Yep, launch was rescheduled for today, but about 15 minutes ago they scrubbed it again due to a hydrogen leak in a quick-disconnect hose.

Monday and Tuesday (Sept 5th and 6th) are the last 2 days in this launch window that they could possibly fly, or they're gonna have to roll the thing back into the hangar for at least a month while things are re-certifified.

I think this was similar to the leak they had during the "wet dress rehersal" a couple months ago. Monday's was scrubbed because engine 3 wasn't getting down to temperature during a bleed test. This week they decided the sensor was at fault and the engine was actually getting down to temperature so they were going to ignore it.

I'd be surprised if it launches Monday or Tuesday. I'm guessing they'll roll it back into the hangar, fix what needs to be fixed, and try again in about 4-6 weeks.

At this rate, Space-X's Starship will be ready before SLS.

The SLS is a massive waste of money, a product of pork barrel politics.

If it launches, then $2B just went into the ocean.

If it explodes, then $2B went into the ocean, but it provided some entertainment.

My money's on Starship getting off the pad before SLS. At least SpaceX has an incentive to launch something, because they're funding the development themselves, and won't profit until it launches. SLS is a cost-plus contract, so the longer it takes, the more money Boeing makes.
